Board President: Clarice Yoder
Mrs. Yoder began her formal service to the Gahanna-Jefferson Board of Education in 2001 and currently serves as president. Previously, she taught home economics for 17 years with Licking Valley Local Schools, in Newark, Ohio.
She has a bachelor's in education from Kent State University, a master's in theology from the University of Dayton, and a master of divinity from Trinity Lutheran Seminary. She is a member of a regional youth ministry commission and a hospital chaplain. She and her husband Roy have one adult daughter, Lauren. Yoder's current term concludes on Dec. 31, 2013.

Vice President: Jill Schuler
Mrs. Schuler began her formal service to the Gahanna-Jefferson Board of Education in January 2010 and currently serves as vice president. She has bachelor’s, master’s and doctorate degrees in Slavic linguistics from the Department of Slavic and East European Language and Literature through The Ohio State University (OSU). She also taught Russian language and culture while at OSU. Schuler has worked in the state legislature and in the executive branch as an agency liaison for the Lottery Commission and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services. She has also worked in the private sector to represent businesses large and small, and on behalf of non-profits. She and her husband, Matt, have four children; two who are currently school-age, and are enrolled within Gahanna-Jefferson Schools. Scott Mounts
A product of Ohio public schools; Mr. Mounts grew up in Washington C.H., Ohio and upon high school graduation, he moved to Columbus, Ohio, to attend The Ohio State University. In 1990, with a bachelor’s in civil engineering, he moved to Findlay, Ohio.
In 1995, he returned to central Ohio and has been a resident of Gahanna ever since. Mounts currently serves as the director of Environmental, Health and Safety with the Greif Corporation in Delaware, Ohio. He and his wife, Lynda, have two children attending Gahanna-Jefferson Schools. Mounts’ current term concludes on Dec. 31, 2013.

Windy McKenna
Mrs. McKenna began her formal service to the Gahanna-Jefferson Board of Education 1994. She is currently serving her fifth consecutive term. She has a bachelor's degree in business education and is a retired adult-education teacher. She has been recognized for her commitment to public education and civic engagement by the Ohio School Boards Association's 2002 Central Ohio Region Outstanding School Board Member Award.
McKenna also currently serves on the board of Eastland-Fairfield Career & Technical Schools, president of the Academy Acres Civic Association, a member of the Ohio Child Conservation League, and has previously served as a 2010-2011 trustee for the Franklin County Educational Council. Dewitt D. Harrell
Mr. Harrell was appointed* Jan. 10, 2013, from a pool of 23 local community applicants. He obtained an executive MBA from Case Western Reserve University and a B.S. in accounting from Florida A&M University. Since 2007, Harrell has served as the Chief Financial Officer with the Columbus Metropolitan Library.
His many civic contributions include serving as treasurer for the Central Ohio Workforce Investment Corporation; a member of the Citizens Financial Advisory Committee for the City of Gahanna; and, is an active member of the Gahanna-Jefferson Education Association, as well as a member of the School Business Advisory Council. He cites a passion for shared services, fiscal stewardship, and strategic planning as reasons he chose to serve on the board of education. He and his wife Linda, have four children; three having graduated from GJPS.
