The
School Business Advisory Council (SBAC)
is a vital link in connecting the District's academic programs to the
world of work beyond high school. The council seeks out partnerships to
provide GJPS students with career awareness, mentoring, and
job-shadowing opportunities. The SBAC also provides industry insights
related to various vocational programs and supports numerous student
recognition programs.
The
Gahanna-Jefferson Education Foundation
(GJEF), an outgrowth of the vision and leadership within the SBAC,
provides scholarships and grants to further promote excellence within
Gahanna-Jefferson Schools. Collaboratively, the GJPS, the SBAC and the GJEF create
Partnership News, an annual publication highlighting the outstanding community, civic and business partners supporting the work of educating the more than 7,000 students and future leaders throughout the District.
