GMSS Read Across Gahanna Book Drive
The Gahanna Middle School South (GMSS) 6th-grade Community Service Committee is marking the days leading up to National Read Across America Day, with a Read Across Gahanna Winter Book Drive. The students have set a goal to collect 1,000 new or gently used children’s books (pre-k through 8th-grade). The drive culminates with a mass donation to The Free Store/Stonybrook United Methodist Church.

19th Annual High Point ES Reading Night
High Point ES staff members will bring to life storybook characters - complete costumes, props, and plenty of crazy antics. This annual event, with roots back to 1993, began with 50 children in attendance, has since grown to audiences of more than 400.

Royal Manor ES Volunteers Set for 2012 Read Across America Day
District officials and community leaders will gather at Royal Manor ES to prove "You're never too old, too wacky, too wild, to pick up a book and read with a child," from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
