District recognizing Heartland and Dynalab for contributions to education

Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools has nominated two local businesses to the Ohio School Boards Association (OSBA) 2017 business honor roll. GJPS is pleased to recognize Heartland Bank and Dynalab for their contributions to educational programming throughout the district.

Heartland Bank has been a consistent supporter of the Gahanna-Jefferson schools. As a 12-year presence on the Gahanna-Jefferson Education Foundation board of directors, they have provided significant financial support for the Education Foundation, which supports innovative programs across the district.

Heartland Bank, and president Scott McComb, are outstanding business partners to our school district. They willingly give of their time, expertise and they are generous financial donors.

Dynalab has been a long­time supporter of the school district. CEO Gary James has provided professional expertise in many roles, including serving as a member of the Gahanna-­Jefferson Education Foundation board, the Engineering Advisory Board, and project judge in the classroom.

Over the past ten years, Dynalab has provided substantial funding to STEM programs. In 2016, Dynalab donated a $20,000 matching fund for 3D printers and X­Carve machines at GLHS and all middle schools.
