Chapelfield Elementary is a community school with a welcoming atmosphere and strong focus on academics. We strive to meet students’ needs while preparing them to be lifelong learners. Students have opportunities to enhance citizenship skills, build character, and develop positive relationships through a variety of programs such as the school store Stop and Shop, the morning television show Chapelfield Today, Student Council, classroom buddies, peer tutoring, playground assistants, and homework help club. Family and school connections are extremely important when providing the best education for our students. Chapelfield Elementary is known for its positive and inviting atmosphere. We have a rich tradition of parent and volunteer involvement. Parents, grandparents, community members, business partners, and past parents regularly work at the school as tutors, clerical helpers, classroom workers, and cafeteria and playground assistants. The PTO focuses on providing quality programs, materials, and activities for our students and families to supplement the educational process and build community.
