Physical education waivers at GLHS

SPECIAL ACADEMIC OPTIONS AT GLHS

College Credit PlusThe College Credit Plus (CCP) program, formerly known as PSEO and dual credit, is designed to provide GLHS students the opportunity to complete college course work while still in high school, at no cost to parents. Upon successful completion, students will earn transcripted college credit, as well as high school credit for courses taken. This program allows for families to save thousands of dollars in college tuition while giving students a jump-start on their post-secondary plan.

Through partnerships with public colleges and universities, students are provided a large selection of general education and career-technical courses from which to choose.

Students are not limited to the courses or the institutions of higher education listed. The links below provide information regarding the College Credit Plus Program at GLHS. Please see Ms. Slocum in the main office or your school counselor for more information regarding participation in this program.

Credit Flexibility Program

  • Test Out: an option to test out of and earn credit for a high school course through the successful completion of an assessment.
  • Educational Options: allows a student to earn credit through the creation of and completion of a student-designed project/proposal.

Please read through the information entirely; contact your school counselor before completing the program application.
