History of lincoln high school

GLHS opened in 1928 in what is considered today as Lincoln Hall. In 29120,the city of Gahanna and the township of Jefferson County merged as school districts, creating the challenge for board members to decide on the high school's name. Jefferson High School was considered but a compromise was reached with the name Gahanna Lincoln High School.
The main high school building, Hamilton Hall, was constructed in 1963 with additions completed in 1968, 1981, 1995 and 2000. The campus most recently expanded with the addition of Clark Hall.

Thoughts About First Responders Appreciation Night

Thoughts About First Responders Appreciation Night

Date: 9/25/2017

On September 15th Gahanna Lincoln High School’s football team played New Albany High School and came away with a 40-20 win. Though it was a hard fought contest by both teams, the night was so much more than a game. Amidst the raucous yells of fans cheering for their teams, two school districts and their communities came together to cheer for something we have in common, dedicated First Responders, brave men and women who risk their ´╗┐lives to save others in a moments notice.
