Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools (GJPS), a suburban community in northeast Franklin County seeks to inspire, nurture and empower all students to love learning. The district provides high-quality learning experiences to more than 7,500 students, encouraging creativity and preparing our graduates for careers, college and beyond. By fostering trusted relationships with district families and the Gahanna community, GJPS works daily to ensure student learning is the top investment and priority. Within one preschool, seven elementary schools, three middle schools and Gahanna Lincoln High School, the GJPS student population is celebrated as one of the most diverse in central Ohio. The district encourages compassion, empathy and tolerance always, and provides a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel respected and free to be their authentic selves.
Gahanna is a choice location for businesses, residents and visitors offering 750+ acres of parkland, vibrant neighborhoods and more! Adjacent to I-270, Gahanna is approximately eight miles from downtown Columbus and just minutes away from John Glenn Columbus International Airport. The district, which includes the City of Gahanna and parts of Jefferson and Mifflin Townships, is a culturally diverse suburban area with just under 48,000 residents. Named one of the ‘Best Hometowns’ by Ohio Magazine, Gahanna is rich in heritage and offers a friendly environment, unique historic attractions, high-quality restaurants and expansive green space.

Peachjar eFlyer Approval and Distribution Process Gahanna-Jefferson Public Schools values our relationships with local community partners and organizations that sponsor educational and enrichment activities for our students. We cooperate with these community groups by distributing flyers electronically through our service provider, Peachjar. As part of our efforts to be more environmentally friendly, embrace innovative technology, and maintain fiscal responsibility, we have transitioned from paper to electronic flyer delivery. Paper flyers from outside organizations are no longer distributed. Peachjar charges a fee to outside organizations for this service that is typically much less than the cost to copy and deliver paper flyers to each school. All requests for flyer distribution by outside community organizations must first be approved by the district office. To request flyer approval, follow the steps below. Once approved, your flyer will be emailed to all parents and posted online.
