Summer Enrichment Opportunities 2023

(Please note: this enrichment program is not the Journey to Learning Summer School Program. Please scroll further for our traditional summer school classes offered)

Exciting enrichment opportunities are available this summer for FREE!

All experiences will be offered at Lincoln Elementary 261 Helmbright Dr., Gahanna, OH 43230.

There will be no transportation available for the summer enrichment opportunities.

Journey to Learning Summer School Overview

Each year the Gahanna-Jefferson Public School district offers a wide variety of summer courses for students-preschool through high school-as part of the “Journey to Learning” program. There are programs for intervention/remediation, high school credit and make-up classes.

Cross Categorical classroom is also available in the grades K-5 ELSS program only..

Summer classes for English language learners are available for grades K-12.

Information about additional summer enrichment opportunities will be posted soon.

Bus transportation is only available at 8:00 am and 12:00 pm for students in grades 1-8 during the 2022-23 school year. Bus transportation is not available at 10:00. Bus transportation is not available for Preschool, Kindergarten Readiness, Kindergarten, or high school classes.

The federal food service program is not available during the summer months; however, many community-based organizations may provide similar services.

All classes require minimum enrollment in order to be offered.

The deadline to enroll for most classes is Tuesday, May 23, 2023. No registrations will be accepted after the deadline.

$245 (There are no fee adjustments for new credit classes for those on free/reduced lunch.)
