1/12 - 7th Grade Boys Basketball traveled out to Westerville Walnut Springs to take on the Wolves and brought home the Win, 35-17.
1/12 - 8th Grade Boys Basketball also traveled out to Westerville Walnut Springs. The boys gave it their all and played hard until the very end but just couldn't hang on, losing 41-43.
1/12 - 7th Grade Girls Basketball hosted Westerville Walnut Springs where they won big with a score of 18-4. Defense again led the way against a Wolves team that also played hard. There were a lot of contributions off the bench but all were led by Lily Stacy as she ran the point guard position with confidence and Maddie Vanderzwart who kept attacking the rim all night.
1/12 - 8th Grade Girls Basketball also hosted Westerville Walnut Springs where the 8th grade girls grabbed another win, 31-26. The Lady Lions were led in scoring by Amiyah Davis with 10 points, and Olivia Tee & Delany Bethea who both added 8.
1/18 - Coed Wrestling improved their Dual Meet record to 4-1 with a 54-25 victory over Whitehall Rosemore. Recording victories for Gahanna (all via Pin) were Elan Sells (East), Bryce Harr (East), Emma Abrams (East), Don Price (East), Kellen Rachel (East), Elijah McCoy (East), and Ben Bell (East). Karina Kelley (East) and Isaiah Booker (South) were winners vis forfeits. The lone victor in exhibition matches was Isaiah, who won his match 5-3 for the Lions.
Winter athletic fees are now posted and are due by Friday, November 25th. Please remit payment via Infinite Campus or check. If paying via check, please drop off in the GMSE office to receive a receipt of payment.

Pay to participate contributions are used for the upkeep of athletic facilities, equipment, uniform purchases, and coaches salaries.
Exceptions and PTP Fee Caps:
Refunds for PTP Fees will only be granted retroactively to a student-athlete that suffers a season-ending injury. Student-athletes that either quit the team, or are removed from the team for eligibility or disciplinary purposes will not be refunded.
